Participants:
Persons who design, make, and sell their own handcrafted items.
Handcrafted or commercially made merchandise bought for resale is
specifically excluded from the crafts section of the folly. Selection:
All participants (including those sharing booths) must submit 3
color photos of the works to be sold with one photo showing an overall
view of the booth setup. Please label photos with your name. These
photos will be returned to you at the show. Participants will be
selected by jury. These can be submitted via regular mail or e-mail.
Booth:
The booth spaces are at least 10 ft x 10 ft. The booths will line
both sides of North Main Street.
Each booth will have a 3 ft space on each side to allow for access
to and from the street. Back panels on tents cannot be used during
show times to allow viewing of businesses from the street. Each
exhibitor is responsible for all booth equipment. Remember this
is an outside show, so prepare accordingly. At this time there is
no electricity available. Booths must be manned at all times during
show hours. Times:
May 4------- 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM
Setup - 6:00 PM
Setup starts at 6:00 PM. We have found that being flexible and open
for business while setting up has proven to be very profitable.
May 5 ------ 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Setup - 7:00 AM - 9:45 AM
No breakdown before 6:00 PM on Saturday, May 6. Friday, May 5 is
an optional show date for craft exhibitors and is offered to you
at no additional cost. Crafters are encouraged to remain open until
the end of the entertainment each night.
Deadline: The deadline for applications is April 1, 2007.
There are a limited number of spaces available. The spaces will
be filled on the earliest postmark of the applicants selected by
jury.
Confirmation:
Confirmations will be mailed shortly after the deadline date. An
information packet will be mailed before April 20, 2007.
* There is no rain date. The Folly will be held regardless of weather.
All revenues received from the applications for this event are used
to cover costs. No refunds will be made.
