Spring Folly is Kernersville's largest and most comprehensive music festival. Held annually the first full weekend of May the festival attracts 20,000-25,000 people to downtown Kernersville for a weekend of wholesome family entertainment.

Spring Folly Provides Expanded Marketing Opportunities

Introduction: As Spring Folly grows there are many more opportunities for businesses to advertise their company. The festival typically draws in excess to 20,000 people to the heart of our community for a weekend of music, rides, shows and other activities.

Sponsor Recognition: The new sponsorship opportunities get your logo and company name out into the public through signage in the festival area, an ad in the newspaper and an ad in the festival publication.

Sponsor Thank You Party: New this year is the Thursday evening sponsor Midway party. Employees of our sponsors will be able to attend a private night of riding the carnival rides in the midway area of Harmon Park. That is a fantastic bonus.

Air Adventures Playground

The majority of the town hall courtyard will be turned into a playground of inflatables from Brinkley Entertainment. This area will be a popular area of Spring Folly, and include all ages. Sponsorship of this area will put your company name on signage at the entrance to the Air Adventures area. You would also have a ½ page ad in the tabloid. Cost of this gold sponsorship is $2,000.

Food Court Sponsor

There is an opportunity for very visible sponsor recognition in the main stage area. The food court vendors are our own civic clubs. This is a heavily populated area since the most prestigious musical entertainment groups play on main stage. There would be large sponsor signage in the food court area, and you would have a ½ page ad in the tabloid. Cost of this gold sponsorship is $2,000.

Arts & Craft Show Sponsor

The festival has an excellent arts & craft show, set up on West Mountain Street (between Main and Cherry Street) and the first part of North Main Street. Signage would give recognition to the sponsor of this area, and a half page ad in the tabloid. Cost of this silver sponsorship is $1,500.

Water Wars Sponsor

Water wars is a water balloon fight between two stations, and will be set up in the “teen scene” area on West Mountain Street. It is popular activity for adolescent and teenagers. In addition to signage at the event, you would have a quarter page ad in the tabloid. We need three Bronze Plus sponsors at $750 for this area.

Sponsor Private Midway Night

This year we are offering a free employee party for the children of our Spring Folly sponsors. Brinkley Entertainment is providing free rides on Thursday, May 1st, in Harmon Park. If we can find a $750 Bronze Plus sponsor, we can add food to the party. You would also have a quarter page ad in the tabloid One $750 Bronze Plus sponsor is needed, and will be recognized with signage at the food area.

Barney, Gomer and Mayberry Police Car

We have the opportunity of having two Mayberry characters and the replica police car on North Main Street, Friday, May 2nd. In order to do this we need one $750 sponsor that would be recognized with signage at the police car. You would have a quarter page ad in the tabloid.

Spring Folly Mural

We are planning on setting up a 20’ canvas at the courtyard in front of town hall. The canvas mural would allow artists and people wanting to be artists (in other words, anyone) to paint something that would be on display at Spring Folly, but also would be put on display at the July 4th fireworks show. The sponsor name would be put on the canvas that is displayed at both Spring Folly and the fireworks show. You would have a quarter page ad in the tabloid. We would welcome the sponsoring business to also help supervise the mural, wearing your own company logoed apparel, if desired. (Company supervision of the mural is not required, but available. We will want to supervise this activity.) Cost of this sponsorship is a $750 Bronze Plus Sponsor.

Bronze Sponsors

Bronze sponsors pay for the entertainment featured at both Main Stage and the Harmon Park stage. They will be listed on a large banner displayed at the Main Stage and a second banner elsewhere in the Spring Folly area. We also list the sponsors in an newspaper ad plus the Spring Folly tabloid, and provide a quarter page ad in the tabloid. Cost of a Bronze sponsor is $500.

Thank you on the chamber sign in front of the chamber building. The listing will be for one week on the sign. 12,000 cars per day drive by this sign.
